We are proud to announce that our recipient for this month`s Cash in on Kindness will be the Leelanau County Cancer Foundation!
The Leelanau County Cancer Foundation’s Mission is to help improve the quality of life for Leelanau County residents and their families who are touched by cancer.
Since 2016 the Leelanau County Cancer Foundation has provided funds for neighbors touched by cancer for their non-medical expenses. These payments can be a source of relief for patients and their families. We contribute toward household expenses like rent and mortgage payments, auto insurance and repairs, gasoline, dental bills, health insurance, utilities, child care, home and lawn maintenance. We also help with the cost of travel and lodging for distant care. When you contribute to the LCCF, that help goes directly to your neighbors… people who live in your community. #leelanau #leelanausandscasino #traversecity #nonprofit

Our Cash in on Kindness monthly guest collection initiative presented $4,625.32 to Leelanau Children`s Center to provide center-based care for preschoolers, with an emphasis on early relationships, early experiences, child-initiated play-based learning, and community partnerships.
